Laoxao Homestay is first and foremost the home of a three-generation farming family in Hoi An. The house was built for everyday living and closely connected to the family’s daily life, and only later was it opened to welcome guests as a way of sharing their living space and local way of life. For this reason, the house has a simple and familiar design, not a resort-style accommodation. Its ordinariness is exactly what creates an authentic experience for guests who wish to understand and live like the locals. The surroundings are exceptionally quiet: a lake and small river at the back, a shrimp pond on one side, and a nipa palm forest in front. The house is located deep within a long, typical Hoi An village road, often passed by cycling tours. Laoxao Homestay is filled with greenery and natural light. Here, you can feel the rhythm of nature through morning sunlight, birdsong, the sound of chickens during the day, and the gentle moonlight in the evenings—an experience that is peaceful, simple, and truly Hoi An.

Laoxao Homestay is located in a typical nipa palm village of Cam Thanh – Hoi An, where the traditional rural lifestyle is still well preserved. Situated at the end of the village, the homestay offers a quiet and private atmosphere, while being surrounded by local homes. Most residents here are farmers, making their living from rice farming, fishing, and rowing traditional basket boats. It is only a 200-meter walk to the main road, where you can find small local grocery shops selling daily necessities and a few local restaurants. From Laoxao Homestay, it is about 2 km to Ba Le Market, a lively local market with several marts nearby. The Hoi An Ancient Town is approximately 4 km away, while Cua Dai Beach is just 2 km from the homestay. The area around Laoxao Homestay is known for its authentic countryside character and is a favorite route for cycling tours, allowing visitors to explore village life, observe daily farming activities, and experience the genuine rhythm of local rural life in Hoi An.
