Escape to serenity at Amani Guest House, a charming owner run retreat nestled in a peaceful garden setting just a minute’s drive (or about a 15 minute walk) from the bustling village square of Clarens. This is not your ordinary guest house: Amani offers tranquility, warmth and character. With solar power and water tanks as part of its infrastructure, guests can expect reliable amenities even during load shedding. The colorful garden provides shady spots, relaxing patios, and outdoor braai (barbecue). 4:20 a great time to be out and about at Amani - light and garden just beautiful.
I have lived in Clarens for the past 27 years. My passion is hiking in the surrounding mountains and my garden. In summer the garden is just a picture of colour. Having explored the area for years I can point you in the right direction whatever your interests.
Clarens is an art lovers paradise. The beauty of the area inspires. Explore the Nature reserve that surrounds our town. We have a very well run conservancy which looks after the nature trails. In the rooms I have a booklet with all restaurants listed in case you wish to book for dinners
