This upmarket tastefully decorated self catering beach front apartment is across the road of Umdloti’s most sought after South beach which is known for the best restaurants and shops which is just on your doorstep
511 Umdloti Resort offer sheer luxury and comfort with an extra length king size bed with the capacity of 150kg on each side (300kg together), pristine white 400tread cotton linen, extra-large top of the range pillows and luxury 100% cotton bath sheets. To add on to this luxurious experience unwind on our expansive wrap-around balcony, featuring comfortable loungers and stunning views of the crashing waves and invigorating sea breeze or enjoy breakers view in bed with a steaming cup of coffee.
The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a luxurious bath, perfect for unwinding and indulging in relaxation. Enjoy breakers view while cooking in a fully equipped kitchen.

The Resort has two large outdoor swimming pools as well as a kiddie’s pool and an extensive area with braai / barbecue facilities and seating for guest use.
We started hosting in the 1980’s when we bought a 27 bedroom hotel in Muizenberg which was known in the eighties as the holiday destination of Jewish people. After a few years of managing the hotel we sold it and moved to Camps Bay taking off from the hospitality business because of our children. In the late 90th we returned to the hospitality business, hosting a guesthouse and few apartments in Johannesburg for about 15 years on and off. We recently bought 511 Imdloti Resort renovated it, and here we are offering you our beautiful apartment to enjoy. We ourselves travelled the world, stayed in wonderful Hotels, Apartments and Guesthouses, we know how important it is to sleep on a quality bed, top of the range linen and towels, nice décor and good service is, which is our motto.
Vi & Peet Bronkhorst
The Resort has two outdoor swimming pools with barbecue and seating facilities. In the complex are two world-class restaurants, Bel Punto and Mundo Vida, the Bush Tavern - the friendly local bar and restaurant and a bright open coffee shop, Café Java. All of which have great sea views. Spuds and Steers, also in the complex are perfect for takeaways. Prefer to cook? Supermarket is 300m up the road. The beaches are user friendly and the swimming areas have lifeguards and are protected by shark nets. The annual migration of Humpbacked whales starts around mid-June and are seen daily from Aug through to Nov. The annual sardine run in June & July is another greatly anticipated migration phenomena. Although not predictable and not always reaching Umdloti, this “the largest bio-mass migration on the planet” is a must see when it does occur and Umdloti is well located to travel south to experience it. As mentioned, Umdloti is on what is marketed as the Dolphin Coast and rightly so as dolphins are sighted almost daily close in-shore. Having coffee in the morning at Café Java and watching these iconic animals cruise by is an experience
