I simply love whales, and for the past 40 years I’ve designed my life around sharing the magic of the ocean with others. I’ve had the privilege of taking travellers out onto the waters of Mossel Bay to meet and experience these incredible creatures up close. My passion for tourism, combined with my love for the ocean and this beautiful area, naturally led me to hosting. I truly enjoy welcoming guests and sharing everything that makes Mossel Bay so special.
The neighbourhood is superbly quiet and overlooks the small, picturesque Mossel Bay harbour, with sweeping views of the ocean beyond. The Point area is one of Mossel Bay’s most iconic locations, known for its dramatic coastal scenery, historic lighthouse, and panoramic walking paths along the cliffs. It’s also a popular spot for whale watching during the season, as well as dolphin and seal sightings year-round. There are many delightful restaurants and activities nearby, with The Point within easy walking distance, along with several historic stone buildings that reflect the town’s rich maritime heritage.
