Company info

We bought the delipidated buildings in 2003 and started the guesthouse. Our dream was to make this place a peaceful Oasis. It is a constant process... The idea is to give our guests not only a bed to sleep in, but also pleasant memories to take with them.

Property info

The best kept secret in Aberdeen. Our farm like, rustic atmosphere is very different. We are not 5-Star. But we have lots of stars to gaze at after night fall. This is Karoo. (Semi Desert) Extreme Wind, Heat, Cold, and dust winds can appear out of nowhere. But mostly we have beautiful sunny and wind free days. :-) We are pet and human friendly. Check in times from 2pm to 8pm. We have Free Wi-Fi available in the communal Lapa and on-site Coffee Shop. Our swimming pool is our most valuable summer asset. All our rooms have Air-conditioning. During the cold winters, there is always a fire going in the Coffee Shop where breakfast is served all day.

Neighborhood info

A Few typical small-town restaurants where service is not always as efficient as in the big city centers but be prepared to appreciate the people and the food. What is another 10 minutes when you are on vacation? Aberdeen is different from most other places. People are friendly and our neighborhood is clean. It is safe to walk anywhere here, even at night. People go to bed early and the Cocks starts crowing at 3h00 in the morning. Especially on Sunday mornings. Summers are harsh and most people are hiding inside their houses. Winters are cold with wonderful cool days. We have different cultures living side-by-side and peacefully here. Exactly how the KAROO should be..... :-)
