Guests love exploring the surrounding trails, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and birdwatching, while taking in the breathtaking Magoebaskloof landscape, often shrouded in its famous silver mist. The camp is set near Haenertsburg, on the grounds of the historic Cheerio Gardens, known for its exquisite gardens cultivated since 1946. Cherry blossoms, azaleas, camellias, hydrangeas, and towering pin oaks fill the property, attracting an array of bird species, including Green Twinspots, White-starred Robins, Lemon Doves, and the elusive Narina Trogon.
