I am Margarita le Roux, the owner of Amour Guest House in George. Throughout my life I have lived, worked and travelled through different parts of the world. A few years back I was fortunate to visit South Africa and I fell in love with the unique beauty of nature. The Garden Route, in particular, stole my heart and I decided to establish a guest house in George. My desire is create "a home away from home" for all my guests. Since the opening of Amour Guest House in 2018, my team and I have been committed to providing the highest quality services. A guest house where a traveller will have a peaceful rest after a long business day, a romantic getaway for those in love and where all my guests can enjoy the diversity of nature. I am looking forward to welcoming you to Amour Guest House.

Dear Guest, We are happy to welcome you at our guest house situated in one of the greenest, safest and most tranquil areas of beautiful and friendly George. Enjoy our attractive garden and a picturesque view of the Outeniqua Mountains surrounded by pine forest. Wake up to a lovely sound of birds, scent of fresh and bracing coffee, and meet a morning with a feeling of peace. Watch the sunset and relax in the cosy chair outside your room. The floor to ceiling windows allows the sunlight fill the room and the warmth of the sun. Open the sliding doors and experience the fresh air with the delicate scents of the plants and flowers. Find a spot in the spacious garden for your reading time. Our comfortable beds will ensure you of a quality sleep and help you recharge for the next day. The blackout curtains will also let you have an afternoon siesta or be the guards of your privacy. We have our power backup inverter system so we are not impacted by load shedding. Amour Guest House provides you with an ideal location to explore the major local attractions all within easy driving distance from the Guest House such as The Transport Museum and popular Powervan, Outeniqua pass, Montagu pass, Map of Africa, Wilderness and all the top Golf courses including, Fancourt, George, Oubaai, and Kingswood. The beaches of Victoria Bay and Herolds Bay are only a 10-minute drive away. George is a great destination for travellers interested in good food, golfing, safe beaches, surfing, mountain hiking and cycling. George has numerous hiking trails, moonlight meader tours and bird watching. The Botanical Gardens can be reached within 5 minutes and George Airport is 20 km away, a shuttle service is available on request at a minimal cost to you. Day trips, transportation and walking tours can be arranged at an additional cost to you. Taxi Service/Transfer available at the Airport, transfers from R150 - R250 Car Rental is also available at George Airport. Go George Bus Services are available from 05h00 till 21h30 seven days a week.
