We are looking forward to welcome you at our apartment. Being the owner as well as the host, be sure that we put in a lot of effort - the personal touch is very important to me. When you walk into our modern, stylish and fully equipped apartment you will feel the love and effort that I put into it. I hope that you will feel the sence of peace in the apartment. I also hope that this is your home away from home and that you feel welcome from the first moment you enter. 1 on York is so close to George CBD and a short drive from the Airport. There is a great shopping Centre within walking distance. We feel blessed to have you as guests and look forward to read every guest's review.
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Illona. After travelling a lot during the past years, I always felt that hosting guests in my own place would be amazing. Many times we stayed in places where I found myself dreaming about being a host of my own place. This was a dream for "one day" since we planned to stay in the Middle for a few more years. After 14 years in the Middle-East, my husband lost his job as Civil Engineer in 2022 due his sickness (Early Onset Parkinson's Disease). After the initial shock, we decided to come and settle in one of the most beautiful places in the World: The Garden Route. We bought this apartment and had different plans with it. We got the opportunity to rent it out for short-term accommodation. I love hosting because I love people and it makes me so happy to get the positive feedback. I also believe in walking the extra mile for guests. Since every person is different you can choose between a personal warm welcome or contactless check-in, whatever you prefer. I want to people to feel special, cared for and that this is a place and experience which they will come back to.
The location is perfect! It is a few minutes away from the airport and 10 minutes away from the well-known Garden Route shopping mall. The Medi-Clinic is also 7 minutes away. Within walking distance there is a Shopping Centre with everything you need, including restaurants and more. For those Woollies fans, there is a Woolworths food-stop down the road! Oh....there is a beach within a few kilometres away! The information file in the apartment, make it easy to get very confused about what to do in the Garden Route!
