Bill and Gail also welcome you to stopover en-route on the N3, at their famous historic hotel in the mountains, The Green Lantern Inn where one can meet the famous bar donkey, Bojangles.

Rock Inn has a large outside entertainment area with a bar, plenty of seating space & a swimming pool. There are 2 braai areas next to the swimming pool, a built-in charcoal braai & large gas braai (gas is provided). Tucked away in the back garden is a fire pit & a under cover boma with a light & power point. The lounge & dining area are spacious & open plan. The large kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. Upstairs sleeps 12 people in 5 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed, & is en-suite. The 2nd bedroom is a family room with a queen & 2 single beds. 3 bedrooms each have a queen bed & private balcony. Upstairs shares 3 separate full bathrooms & 2 separate toilets. Downstairs: There is a games room with Table Tennis. 3 spacious bedroom/dormrooms with 8 bunk beds sleeping up to 16 people. 1 room is private & sleeps 6 persons, the other 2 are semi-private sleeping 6 & 4 people. They share 2 showers & loos. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer & upright freezer, stove, microwave, 2 kettles, 2 electric frying pans & 2 toasters.

Ramsgate's main beach is just a 500m stroll away and is a swimming beach ideal for fishing, body-boarding or paddle-surfing and there is a is ski-boat launch site on the neighboring beach too. It is lifeguarded in season. Enjoy watching whales from the Whale-viewing Deck over looking the main Ramsgate beach. Ramsgate main beach is a Life-guarded Blue Flag Beach with a tidal pool, lagoon, paddle boats and restaurants ie The Waffle House & Blue Lagoon Restaurant. The Ramsgate village offers a super variety of fine restaurants, cafes and pubs for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as an Art Gallery and two antique stores.
