Birdsong is a private, self-catered, and solar-powered house in a wildlife conservancy adjoining Kruger National Park. Relax on the downstairs outdoor lounge with heated pool as zebra, kudu, and many others stop by to visit. Watch the sun set from the hammock on the upper patio. Exercise in the gym space. And if you just can't get away from work, there is a large table upstairs with a beautiful video background! Birdsong is just 15 minutes from Kruger's Crocodile Bridge gate. Birdsong is designed to be simple and comfortable. Minimalist design emphasizes space, harmony and natural light. It’s beautiful, practical and functional. The downstairs interior living area flows to an indoor/outdoor dining and lounge area that transitions seamlessly into your own totally private bushland. There are also two bedrooms and bathrooms on this level. The upper level is accessed by stairs from the outdoor lounge. The gym and work space open to a large patio through the 6 meter sliding glass door. There is also a king bedroom with en suite bathroom.

I live in Seattle- one of the most beautiful places in the US. My husband and I love to travel - and we have at least one big trip a year with friends or on our own. After visiting South Africa in 2018 we knew we'd be back! We love soccer and try to attend local matches when we travel. We also liked Eurovision and will travel for this as well!

The Marloth Park conservancy, within which the lodge is located, is a unique 1500 hectare natural bush environment with its own abundant wild game including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, kudu and impala roaming free, literally on your doorstep. And, as our name suggests, many species of spectacular African birds in the native trees surrounding your lodge, including a magnificent mature Marula tree — a great favorite of the birds — right outside your front door. There is no place we've ever been that is like Marloth Park! You'll want a car if you go anywhere at night. During the day you can walk to local stores for the basics, or to explore along the Crocodile River looking into Kruger Park. Safaris can be arranged to pick up and drop off at the house.
