Come and stay at the Breakers Resort at one of our stunning, self-catering, fully serviced privately owned apartments right on the beach in Umhlanga. The apartments are situated in the fantastic Breakers Resort located along Lagoon Drive on the Umhlanga coast that boasts plenty of amenities to keep you and your family entertained during your holiday.

The Breakers Resort is located on the beachfront of Lagoon Drive in Umhlanga Rocks. The resort is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches and the surrounding nature reserve. The resort has direct access to the beach which is located just 80m away. Situated just 1.4 kms from the Umhlanga Village and 2.7kms from Gateway shopping centre, the Breakers Resort is the perfect destination for holiday or business trips as we offer rooms for individuals or up to 6 people ranging from gorgeous studio to 2 bedroom apartments. All apartments have daily housekeeping free of charge The Breakers offers a range of world class facilities that include a gym, indoor soccer court, putt putt, games room, restaurant, conference center, health and beauty spa, volley ball court, kids play room as well as 3 swimming pools. The 3 pools consist of a lap pool, main pool and an entertainment pool that has a small water park attached to it.

Umhlanga has fast become the best area in Durban for holidays and business accommodation. Located just 18km from King Shaka International Airport, the area has blossomed over the last few years. Umhlanga is home to the largest shopping center in Africa and is one of the trendiest places in Durban. Umhlanga rocks is made up of hotels, holiday accommodation and a huge range of restaurants, bars and shops.The Umhlanga village is home to a large variety of the restaurants and shops and you can find a wide range of choices ranging from Greek food, seafood, Italian, burger joints, pub food, steakhouses and plenty bars to suit your needs. There are many different beaches to choose from as well as the resort being located next to a nature reserve with over 12kms of trails. Mount Edgecome golf estate is 7 km's way, Ushaka Marine World 23 km's, Kings Park stadium, 16 km's and the Durban city center will take you just a 14 minute drive.
