The Chalet offers perfect blend of comfort and affordability. Our prime location offers direct access to pristine beaches, making us an ideal pick for those searching for accommodation on the North Coast. With gorgeous sea views lots do in the vicinity, including fishing, dolphin- and whale-watching cruises, or simply relaxing at the pool or on the beach.

The self-catering accommodation is walking distance from the Chakas Rock Tidal Pool 350m. Umhlali Beach 400m and the "Hole In The Wall" tourist attraction at Thompsons Bay Beach and tidal pool 1000m. Closeby towards the South of Shaka's Rock other beaches cater for activities such as for swimming (Willard) and surfing beaches (Boulder). A promenade about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) long along the beach front allows for walking and jogging. The Gunston 500 surfing contest, renamed Ballito Pro has been shifted from the Bay of Plenty in Durban's Golden Mile to Ballito where it is held annually in July. Further North up the coast are the beaches of Salt Rock, Sheffield Beach and Tinley Manor.
