Die Kliphuisies (The Stone Cottages ) are located on a local klein Karoo farm 17kms outside the town of Oudtshoorn. It is far enough from town to enjoy the calmness and tranquility the farm has to offer but close enough to wine and dine and have access to local shops. You will exit the main road onto an easy accessible gravel road that will lead to the cottage about 1km away. The cottage is solely reliant on solar power. It is only sufficient to heat the geyser and for essential lights. The cottage also has a gas stove and fridge/freezer available.
