Glentana is a sleepy and cozy beach resort, in the heart of the Garden Route. Dolphin's Nook is located on the front row and has a quiet street view and partial sea view from the balcony and kitchen. Let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. Dolphin sightings are common all year round, while whale spotting can be done during May to November. It has long stretches of sandy beach and offers a rare opportunity to collect pansy shells. A favorite activity is doing the coastal walk to the wreck at low tide. Not much remains, but the secluded nooks and little bays are reason enough for a stroll. Dolphin's Nook is only 15 minutes from George Airport. The unit is ideally located on the Garden Route between George and Mossel Bay with Oudtshoorn and Knysna a short drive away. We can accommodate up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an fully equipped open-plan kitchen and living area. Braai facilities are provided.

I have been coming to Glentana for more than 30 years, and I still get exited every time I cross the Outeniqua Mountains. I am a scuba diver, and one of my favorite pastimes is to sit on one of the benches and watch the dolphins play in the waves. I am also thrilled when I spot some Southern Right whales (prevalent during May till November). Life in Glentana is gentle, but the night life is not far away. The stretch between Heroldsbaai and Klein Brak offers numerous great restaurants and bars My preferred restaurant is Trans Karoo, which is situated in the old Great Brak railway station. The food and wine selection is exquisite. De Vette Mossel offers a unique dining experience on the beach.The surrounding area also offers a number of coffee shops, of which my favorite is located inside the Diaz Museum in Mosselbay.
