Located in Sodwana Bay, on the border of the iSimangaliso World Heritage Site and in a beautiful forest setting, Dolphin Lodge (House 47) is a privately owned, fully furnished home in the secure Sodwana Bay Lodge complex. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms with airconditioning, two bathrooms, a lounge and dining area with airconditioning, a garden, and a large, spacious deck area for braais, bird watching, and sundowners. The home is a six-sleeper, has air conditioning, free WiFi, and free parking. Pure cotton bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels (full DSTV), and a fully equipped kitchen are provided. Power is available 24/7 with a backup generator. Visitors have access to a large swimming pool at Sodwana Bay Lodge complex, which also offers an additional pool with a bar and front desk service at Reception (opening hours 7h00 - 21h00 daily) and full-day patrol and gate security. Guests can self-cater or visit the on-site restaurant or one of the other restaurants in Sodwana Bay. Dolphin Lodge is perfectly suited for bird watchers and divers visiting the coral reefs of Sodwana Bay, with an outside shower and space to hang wetsuits. There are many dive operators to choose from in the area, or simply relax on the gorgeous deck surrounded by the forest. Self-drive day trips to Tembe Elephant Reserve, St Lucia, Mkuzi, and Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserves are all possible from this location. Charmaine lives on the property and is available from 8h00 - 15h00 daily or on her cell phone. We do have a maintenance Manager cell phone duty after hours. Contact details are in the house with emergency Numbers. Sodwana Bay Lodge is situated just before you enter the World Heritage Site (also called "the Park"), just 5 km from the main beach. You will pay an entrance fee at the Park gate daily.
