Foundation Lodge is a holiday house with a French countryside character that can accommodate six guests comfortably in x 3 en-suite and airconditioned bedrooms, the mezzanine loft can sleep an additional two children. A tranquil and established garden with a small rustic splash pool creates a relaxed atmosphere for those who are wanting just to chill. The garden is secure and big enough for children to play safely. An open plan kitchen and living area lead out onto an undercover verandah with barbeque facilities and the house is serviced daily. The property has its own borehole and the water is potable and safe drink. Only 800m off the main Sodwana road, the property is close to all the dive center's, restaurants, shops and bars. The access road to the property is a sand road and easily accessible with small rental cars. There is ample parking (big enough for a fishing boat, trailers etc.) in a secure area with a lockable gate. Foundation Lodge is a free standing house located in Qongwane area of Sodwana Bay. Our rural community is welcoming and friendly where you can truly experience uBuntu (humanity to others). There are two units on the property. Foundation Lodge and The Rondavel @ Foundation Lodge are on are owned and used by the charity, Coco's Foundation. The lodge is primarily used six times a year by volunteers that come out from the United Kingdom who assist with building homes for child-headed households in our area whose parents have died from HIV/Aids. When not being used by the Volunteers and Trustees, the units are rented out to the many tourists visiting our area.

We have 30 years experience in the hospitality and tourism industry both locally and abroad. Our aim is to ensure that our guests are comfortable and well informed so they can enjoy their holiday experience. Neville has been a scuba instructor since 1988 and is very well known in the industry for his passion of the marine environment (he also has a fish named after him). He loves to share this knowledge with like minded guests. Wendy will always go the extra mile to ensure the guests are happy.
