Tranquility is the mainstay of Grace Courtyard Cottage. This artistically decorated, self-catering, cottage is part of an imposing house with a distinctive U-shape that encircles a charming courtyard. The open-plan cottage offers accommodation for 2 guests and features a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. The bedroom is furnished with an extra length queen-size bed, a TV and 2 comfortable chairs. The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and toilet with expansive relief art on some of the walls. The courtyard is an extension of the cottage where you can relax and experience the serenity of your surroundings. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate induction stove, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities. The décor includes original paintings by your host, Marina, as well as cushions, mugs, and placemats that were designed using images of her art. It is an ideal accommodation for both business and leisure travelers as Bredasdorp is the central hub for the Southernmost Municipality of South Africa. An added benefit is that the house is protected by external security beams.

Marina and Eddie have many years of experience in hosting guests: "It is important for us to engage with our guests without compromising their privacy. Marina is a full time professional artist who also gives art classes and presents various art related workshops. Her studio is in the main house where she spends many hours painting emotive landscape and seascape scenes. Her creative spirit is evident in practically every nook and cranny in and around the house. Eddie's mission in life is to assist people to find their lives as being meaningful, be it personally, in their work or in their relationships. He is a professional coach and counsellor. Eddie is a Hot Air Balloonist and developed the Gravity Defying Coaching framework and model based on the principles of ballooning.

The Cottage is situated higher on the side of the Soetmuisberg, to the eastern side of town in a quiet residential area. Bredasdorp is the central hub for the Southernmost Municipality of South Africa with all the towns in its precinct within driving distance Attractions: Bredasdorp: The Shipwreck Museum (150 shipwrecks along the nearby Agulhas Reef). Heuningberg Nature Reserve hiking/mountain bike/trail running routes and many gravel roads for avid cyclers. For a casual stroll there is a hiking trail 110m from the cottage. Elim (35km): Historical Moravian mission church and white-washed cottages. Arniston/Waenhuiskrans is officially the only town with two names in South Africa (24km): Seasonal whale watching, Arniston Caves & Kassiesbaai, a historical fishing village. L'Agulhas (37km): Southernmost tip of Africa & Cape Agulhas Lighthouse. Struisbaai (30km): Fishing, horse-riding, hiking, diving, the colourful harbour & the resident stingray "Parrie", swimming beach & arguably the longest unbroken beach in the Southern Hemisphere. Napier (18km): Restaurants, antique collections & art. Suiderstrand (43km): Hiking, Pebble beach & archaeological fish traps.
