Habitat is a self-catering cottage that is situated at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac in the heart of Clarens. The house is beautifully decorated to enhance your country experience and comfortably sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with king-size bed, the guest bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the third bedroom is furnished with a single sofa bed. The main en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath while the guest bathroom has a shower only. There is also a large open-plan living area with a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. A patio leads out from the living room into a tranquil garden area overlooking the mountains. Additional amenities include a complimentary welcome drink, outdoor furniture, secure parking and braai facilities. Children of all ages are welcome but are at all times under full parental responsibility. Breakfast is not included in the rate - can be arranged with prior notice.
With reasonable knowledge in the industry, I pursued the entrepreneurial route and set out simply to create a “home away from home” feeling, a space of escape and welcoming service for fellow travelers. After all, the entire journey relates to the interaction enjoyed with fellow travelers, service providers and locals. A fundamental aspect of my travel history, was the absolute delight that came with exploring small towns. I suppose one will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.
Habitat is a serene retreat nestled in a lovely private garden with fabulous mountain views. It is centrally located from restaurants, galleries and shops. Attractions include hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and many more.
