Beyond the unit you'll find an enchanting garden with a romantic Victorian gazebo where time stands still and only memories are made, or fire-it-up at Jan se Gat - a social braai-pit for nights under a star-lit sky,
Jan du Rand is a philanthropic, passionate man, with a wealth of memories and experience in the hospitality industry and history of our village (being a local for over 45 years). As a hotelier for more than 50 years, he established and lovingly built up (over three decades) the local hotel, along with Marilyn’s Diner, before retiring in 2011.
Storms River village is a tranquil escape to quintessential country living, nestled in the heart of the Tsitsikamma. Surrounded by towering trees and a dramatic mountain backdrop, our village offers a peaceful, nature-infused retreat just steps away from the vibrant pulse of local adventure and hospitality.
