Karoo Secret offers a peaceful and tranquil farm stay where you can contribute to a unique lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You live in the present. There are lots of mapped walks to explore, including watching a stunning Karoo sunset. Karoo Secret is a recommended bird accommodation site for bird enthusiasts. We have developed a jeep track bird route for guests to explore and try and see the Sclater's Lark,one of many different Karoo birds to be seen here.After a busy day in nature, you can relax and enjoy the magnificent mountain view or have a traditional braai on our stoep. Our house boasts 4 rooms,3 en suite decorated to charm you.

We are here to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. We sell braai packs, roosterkoek, homemade apricot jam and sell crates of braai wood by prior arrangement

We are a convenient half way stop from Johannesburg to Cape town or to the southern coast. Karoo Secret is midway between Beaufort West and Graaff Reinet. You can explore the Karoo National Park outside Beaufort West or the Camdeboo National Park or the Valley of Desolation. Graaff Reinet . The award winning Drostdy Hotel charms our historic Graaff Reinet while Aberdeen has the highest church steeple and boasts biblical murals well worth viewing.
