Your stay at Koensrust will be arranged by Rosemary, our manageress who will answer any questions you may have and will liaise with the staff regarding your arrival and departure. Hannah and Elizabeth will have made sure that your accommodation is clean and will be on call if you have any questions.

With 2 km of remote beach on one side, 1 km of river frontage along the Duiwenhoks river on the other side and 1000 ha of beautiful fynbos in between, Koensrust Sea Farm offers endless opportunities to create that wonderful undisturbed weekend away that you are looking for. Whether you fall into the ranks of fisherman, walker, runner, swimmer, mountain biker, canoeist, fynbos affecionado, twitcher or if you just like to laze around, then Koensrust Sea Farm is just the place for you to have that break. And we also welcome your dogs. Our four self-catering options provide the following: bedding and linen, fully equipped Kitchen (including soap and dishcloths), electric lights and fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, hot water for shower and sinks, grids and tongs for the braai, and gas heaters in winter. We also provide you with a certain amount of wood for braaing.

Koensrust is on the Southern Cape Coast about 10 Km from a small rural village called Vermaaklikheid. It borders the sea and the Duiwenhoks River. It surrounds the historic private resort of Puntjie with its "Kapstyl" houses that are endemic to the area. It is about 15 Km from the famous Blombos cave where there earliest drawings ever made by man have been found and where the rich history of the local San people is slowly being discovered. In Stillbay - about 40 KM away - you will find the famous Inveroche Gin stillery where you can sample the Gin's infused with plants from the cape floral kingdom. On the other side it is only 60 KM and you are in the Langberg mountains and Grootvadersbosch where there are numerous day or longer trails.
