Nestled on the confluence of the Komati and Crocodile Rivers, this resort combines comfortable accommodations with wild landscapes. Chalets are set on the floodplain, less than 164 feet from the water’s edge. Accommodations at Komati River Chalets features a private entrance with seating area and kitchen. Each unit is air conditioned, includes private bathrooms and opens out onto patios among tropical gardens. The restaurant is open Mondays through to Saturdays for breakfast and dinner. The outdoor pool offers a chance to relax and the on-site junior jungle gym will entertain the little ones. Company info

The managing team are very warm and welcoming and there is always someone available for any concerns or needs. The chef is very friendly and cooks up an excellent meal. We can cater for large groups both in accommodation and meals. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a laundry facility. Security is also of a high standard.

Property info

The property offers a restaurant for your dinner and breakfast needs. The property offer the following activities: Swimming pool, volley ball, children's play area, a river walk, bird watching, fishing, guided boat fishing for Tiger fish. The property is situated on the banks of the Komati river and the entrance into the Crocodile bridge gate of the Kruger National Park is only 11 kilometres away. All our chalets are air-conditioned and are fitted with DSTV. The chalets are fully equipped for self-catering and each has a braai/ BBQ area. You are able to park next to your chalet and the whole property is set in amongst trees and a bush like setting.

Neighborhood info

Komatipoort is a quaint little border town built on the early mining routes between Maputo and the surrounding mining towns like Barberton and Pilgrims Rest. The town originally was a port with fair sized barges being able to come up river from the Mozambique coast. The river run a lot lower now and the border town now uses road and rail . Komatipoort has a strong farming community and boasts its own school from pre-primary through to high school.
