The house was built in 1902 and has magnificent Oregon pine floors and high ceilings. Accommodation comprises individually decorated guest rooms. Each room features an en-suite bathroom. Each room contains free Wi-Fi access, a TV with a Netflix app, a desk, a free-standing fan, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Room-only or bed and breakfast accommodation options are available. Lindela House offers a BBQ/braai area and secure parking. The friendly and comfortable environment welcomes all. The property is located within close proximity to restaurants and cafes, shops, Mount Currie Nature Reserve, and other attractions in the surrounding area. Lindela House is an easy overnight stop for sales reps travelling to or from the Eastern Cape; a great place for a restful stop on your trip across the country. Kokstad is popular for its many rivers and dams that provide ample opportunity for trout fishing, and there are no fewer than 3 reserves, Mount Currie, Wilfred Bauer, with lovely picnic spots, and the Mountain Lake Nature Reserve, a small reserve peppered with cattle tracks and little paths that provide wonderful walks, as well as over 220 species of bird for bird lovers. Crystal Springs Dam provides boating and angling opportunities for guests. The Crystal Spring Dam is fed by the pure water of Crystal Spring, the main source of Kokstad’s water supply.
