Loved how friendly the staff was, very clean and definitely comfortable. The place definitely exceeded my expectations, was easy to find on the gps. I was an hour earlier then my initial check-in time and they accommodated us with warmth.

The address on your confirmation was correct. I inadvertently searched to go to your address using Google Maps. This took us to another - completely - incorrect hotel at the street Google gave me,. Another guest had the same problem. You should approach Google about this. In addition I was pleased that they had a generator in place and working. There was a major power outage that night. TV was Premium and working properly The electric gate opened when the car was in proximity of it.

A bit difficult to access from N2 due to roadworks.

A bit difficult to access from N2 due to roadworks. Otherwise Kokstad is vibrant, nice, organised, and easy to navigate. There are shops banks etc that are all accessiblke along the main roads. Peoop[le are generally nice and helpful. Kokstad very cold in winter.!!!!

I booked the accommodation but never authorized the...

I booked the accommodation but never authorized the transaction,however,it was deducted from my wife's FNB Account for R3687.00 which we never authorized. Several messages were left for the manager of Anew Hotel in Kokstad never ever came to light,not even an email or phone call. 5 days later and im still following up on my refund. Kokstad has become a little run down since I was there in...

Kokstad has become a little run down since I was there in the early 1990''s but there seems to be a concerted effort in reviving the local industry. I was a little sceptical in finding car parking on the main streets but the new mall areas had lots of parking avaliable that seemed safer. There were also car guards avalaible - many of whom begged for food in addtion to a monetary tip. The surrounding area of Kokstad is still as beautful and scenic as I remember and typical of a South African mountain town.

The location is perfect, but the water issue is such a turn...

The location is perfect, but the water issue is such a turn off. We were told that the same thing happened in December 2021 and people ended up leaving before their departure date, demanding their money back. Such an establishment cannot compromise on the water and ablution system. Plan B should be there for such unfortunate incidents.

Anathi Accommodation in Kokstad was good for me as I slept enroute to Durban. The Staff was very friendly and Professional. The bed was big and the place very neat inside the rooms and in the outside Areas

The place is in town. The linen was fresh. The bed was comfortable, with electric blanket. The rooms have gas heaters ready for the Kokstad cold winter nights. Bathroom have sensors when coming in lights switches on and off when leaving. The host was friendly,welcoming & always available on the phone. The room had bedside lights. I enjoyed my stay

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. Our car broke down just outside Kokstad, and they kindly opened up for us after hours. They even drove me to Avis so I could rent a car. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist during a stressful situation were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them.
