Company info

Newly established in 2023 Wellspring Ventures is our wholly owned company that we use to manage Marula Gardens in Mtubatuba and Alberry Cottages in Clarens. Alberry Cottages is currently taking long-term rentals only. The Directors of Wellspring Ventures are myself, Nigel and my wife, Cheryl. Our hosts are Busisiwe, Nandi and Carlin, they work reception, provide the meals and supervise the cleaning and grounds staff.

Property info

Marula Gardens was the first property developed in River View when the Umfolozi Sugar Mill was commissioned. It consisted of five "rondavels" (round rooms), which housed the management of the mill during the factory construction period.

Neighborhood info

The Umfolozi Country Club is just around the corner from Marula Gardens - it offers Golf, Bowls, Squash and other activities.
