Our stay was overall okay, but there were a few issues worth noting. Initially, I had booked to stay at the McKenzie Street apartments, however after booking the host sent a different address. When I followed up and insisted on the original location, they then confirmed that I could stay at the McKenzie Street apartment as booked, which was a bit confusing at first. Another important point is that, despite being advertised, there was no WiFi available during our stay. The host mentioned it had been damaged due to a recent storm, which is understandable, but it would have been helpful to know this in advance.

The place is run by a nice Dutch couple, and two lovely dogs. It's quite new, located in a quiet small neighborhood, about 20 minutes' drive away from Saint Lucia and the Isimangaliso park. We stayed for two nights and loved it

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The food was exceptional and truly exceeded the value of what we paid — generous portions, great taste, and beautifully presented. Gogo’s warm and caring hospitality made the experience even more special; it is clear that she loves people and takes pride in making guests feel at home. The pool experience was also fantastic — clean, refreshing, and perfectly positioned for relaxation. I was equally impressed by the quality of the furniture and the attention to detail in the décor — everything is top-class and thoughtfully put together, creating a comfortable and elegant environment. Thank you once again for the outstanding service. I look forward to visiting again and will certainly recommend your lodge to others.

Central to a number of tourist attractions, i.e.

Central to a number of tourist attractions, i.e. Umfolozi National Park, St Lucia part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The town is a typical bustling, vibrant rural town, traffic a bit chaotic. I was staying for business purposes, If on vacation I would have probably stayed closer to where the main tourist attractions are.
