Our holiday home is situated in exclusive Langezandt Fishermans Village, a private estate on the beachfront of Struisbaai, 5 minutes drive from Cape Agulhas (the southern tip of Africa) and 2.5 hrs from Cape Town. The cottage boasts modern renovations, as well as a luxuriously appointed kitchen, quality finishes, and a lovely small private swimming pool. The Indoor-outdoor lifestyle is perfect for alfresco living. Take a 4 minute stroll to our 15km white sandy beach, or chill by the pool. Wi-Fi with a back-up 'anti-loadshedding' battery means you can work remotely if you really must!
The space: The Cottage is perfect for a family, or 4 adults + 4 children; it is suitable for 6 adults max. 2 ensuite double bedrooms on the ground floor and bedrooms 3 and 4 are both loft rooms, with either steep or outside access, and therefore NOT that suitable for toddlers / babies but are fine for older kids. A 3rd family bathroom is also on the ground floor. The 4th room (loft room) is accessed from the outside only. Large open plan kitchen/living area with dining table that seats 8, fireplace and separate bar counter with a 2nd fridge-freezer. A walled garden, outside covered stoep/braai and pool
We love family, food, wine, travel, jazz, swimming, and friendship! We take a huge pride in our beautiful holiday home which we try to keep as perfectly maintained as possible.. it’s our retreat, and chance to make invaluable memories with our children in a safe and beautiful environment. We treasure every moment we spend in Langezandt and hope that all our guests do too!
We are not near the property but you can call us anytime for emergencies, and there is a rep close by if a call-out is required.
Langezandt estate has 24 hr security, a stunning white sandy beach and is a 2 minute drive to local shops, supermarket, cafe and a few restaurants.
4 minutes walk to the beach and local surroundings and / or drive to the local harbour. A 5 minute drive to Cape Agulhas.
