Our rustic cabin makes you feel as if you were in the bush. Ideal for a couple or a small family with one child. We tried to preserve our garden as indigenous as possible. We have a vegetable garden and grow our own produce. We do not use any pesticides and have introduce bees in order to boost our fruit trees and help the environment. If you like the outdoors, love nature, animals, then this is your place. We are far from being a room in a hotel. There is only one other cabin in the property. The cabin is located in front of a natural pond (pond gets full depending on rainfall) and surrounded by vegetation. Our kitchenette is outside on the veranda, giving that feeling of cooking/camping outdoors. It is equipped with a hot plate, sink, surface, and a gas stove in case of power failure. The bar fridge, microwave and other equipment is inside the cabin. Toilet and shower on a partition (T division. We are a couple who settled in Stormsrivier about 12 years ago after working in the cruise line industry. We love to travel, meet/host different people who are interested in Nature and gardening, animal lovers (we have 2 rescued dogs, a rescued cat and bunny), people who would like to spend a few days relaxing in our property, far from cities or from your usual accommodation.

Stormsrivier is a quaint little village. Everything is within walking distance and offers plenty of activities to do, from ziplines to water tubing or simply enjoying the hiking paths available. Spend more than one night in order to experience all that our little village has to offer as well as the Tsitsikamma National Park. There is public light in the main roads, all of the other streets have no access of light poles, we offer a torch in case you decide to walk in the evening. As well, on our Formosa street there is a big wooden sign on the left hand side where it indicates how far we are located. It is helpful while driving at night.
