Property Rules & Important Information

• The estate entry gates close at 19:30. No access to the premises will be permitted thereafter.

• Check-in is from 14:00. Guests are advised to arrive before dark due to possible wildlife on the roads, the absence of road lighting, and the possibility of potholes.

• The number of guests stated in the booking confirmation may not be exceeded.

The property accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Additional unregistered guests are not permitted on the property.

Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 07:00

The use of radios, media players and similar devices, and the playing of musical instruments in a manner that disturbs others, is prohibited.

Please keep noise to a minimum and remember that you are staying within a nature reserve.

• Estate Security may impose a noise fine on guests who do not respect quiet hours, particularly in the evenings.

Any fine must be paid at the gate upon departure.

Estate Security reserves the right to inspect the premises and/or vehicles if concerns arise.

• Motorbikes and quad bikes are not permitted on the estate.

• Unfortunately, pets are strictly prohibited as this is a nature reserve.

• This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

• Fires are not permitted except in the designated braai area.

• Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

• The house is a non-smoking property. Guests may smoke only in the designated braai area in front of the house.

• This is not a malaria area; however, mosquito and insect repellent are recommended.

• Guests are welcome to walk freely around the estate. Please respect the privacy of other guests and preserve the peace and beauty of the natural environment.

Please stay on footpaths and designated roads only.

Please bear in mind that you are in the bushveld and may encounter animals along the way.

Walking and running shoes

Mountain bikes

Sun hat and sunscreen

Mosquito and insect repellent

Swimming towels

Wood or charcoal for the braai

• Only licensed pontoon and barge-type vessels are permitted on the dam.

• In accordance with North West Parks regulations, canoeing, rowing and swimming in the dam are not permitted.

• The house has no TV or Wi-Fi so you can make the most of your nature experience, but there is good cell phone network coverage.

• Children must be supervised at all times, particularly on the deck (due to the balustrades), on the stairs, and in the jacuzzi

• Please keep the house mesh doors closed when leaving the property and at night, as bats and monkeys may enter and cause damage.

Nature Reserve Disclaimer

This property is located within a nature reserve and is situated in a natural bush environment. Wildlife (including insects, reptiles and animals), uneven terrain and other natural hazards may be present at all times.

By booking and staying at this property, guests acknowledge and accept that they do so at their own risk.

The host, owner and staff of Bushwillow Estate and/or "Porini – In the Wilderness" shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, damage or death suffered by guests or damage to their belongings arising from wildlife, natural conditions or use of the property.

Guests are responsible for their own safety and are expected to follow all safety guidance provided. Please remain alert and take care of yourselves and your belongings at all times.

• The property is private property, and the Association reserves the right at all times to refuse admission, prevent entry, or remove any person from the property.

• An estate conservation fee of R50 per vehicle per night applies and is included in the accommodation price.

This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Quiet hours are between 22:00:00 and 07:00:00.

If you cause damage to the property during your stay, you could be asked to pay up to ZAR 1,000 after check-out, according to this property's Damage Policy.
