Rebecca's cottage is a funky fun Cottage, we have a cozy gas jetmaster, inside and a choice of Braai facilities on the fully lit and covered entertainment area. Along with a bathroom inside the cottage we have a fun Scandinavian designed Garden shower room featuring a big shower and bathroom facilities. We are pet friendly and the spacious garden is very securely fenced, your pets will not escape. We have electronic gates and secure off road parking. We are very close to the mountain walks and trails and all other entertainment facilities and we are a 10 min walk to the town centre, 2 mins in your car. We offer maid and laundry facilities upon advance request at very reasonable rates. During the very cold winter months May until the end of August, because of the very low temperatures causing the outside pipes to freeze the Garden Shower is closed. However there is a full Bathroom inside of the cottage. We do not currently have WiFi as the position of the Cottage close to the Mountain and forest is not conducive in terms of a signal, hopefully once we have fibre in the area WiFi will be installed.

The hosts Ric and Anne Fry are local people living in Clarens. Based in the Clarens Meander shopping centre, Anne runs the only canine spa/grooming service in the area. Hence we are very happy to accommodate your precious pets at the Cottage.

Bordering the Golden Gate Highlands National Park, the beautiful and dramatic sandstone mountain range is a must to drive thru. A visit to the vulture restaurant is a must. The area boasts a very impressive fossil record and has recently excited the paleontology world with the discovery of a new dinosaur fossils and dinosaur nests. We excitedly await the opening of the Sanparks Dinosaur Museum. The area offers many attractions including hot air ballooning, Fly Fishing, hiking, white water rafting and much more.
