Company info

Tim and Liza farm extensively with nguni cattle, meat goats, meat sheep and lucerne. Recently onion seed production has been added. Tom and Elizabeth are at university and Katherine at boarding school. Everitt is still involved in farming but not on a day to day basis. Tim and Liza live on Roode Bloem about 1km from RBFH.

MODERN FARM ACCOMMODATION CLOSE TO TOWN = RBFH Roode Bloem Farm House is just 9 minutes drive from the centre of Graaff Reinet on the Middleburg road. Offering beautiful modern farm accommodation in an old farm house. The famous attractions and amenities of Graaff Reinet are just a few kilometers away. RBFH sleeps 14 people and is normally quiet and secluded. This recently renovated 1929 farm house offers 4 double bedrooms en-suite and one stunning ¾ bed double bedroom with a separate private bathroom. All bedrooms have 2 single beds and provision can be made for children and babies. A separate family flat that sleeps 4 completes this great accommodation offering. Modern bathrooms compliment the modern sleeping arrangements in an old yellow wood floor house. Nature is just a few steps from the door. Kudu, duiker and nyala keep the trees and grass short. Monkeys sometimes raid the garden and giant tortoise drink water at the house overflow. RBFH boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery and all the little things one needs to self-cater. Wood is available for wheelbarrow braais.
