Phenomenal location very near the outlet road to the Valley of Desolation. The property is wonderfully appointed with a super comfy room, nice common areas and huge dining room : open kitchen. Rob and Annie were great hosts. Breakfast was excellent.

I love to go back to the old town of Graaff-Reinet.

I love to go back to the old town of Graaff-Reinet. The best thing about this town is that it's so well maintained and the history is in all the streets. It's a beautiful town, and I'm sad we didn't get to stay longer. Next time, for sure.

I don't think I've ever seen so many churches in 1 town! I only stayed overnight, but from what I experienced, I'd definitely like to return. I had the most delicious Chicken Livers I've probably ever eaten

We stayed overnight on our way to Mossel Bay.

We stayed overnight on our way to Mossel Bay. It was Sunday 26/4/26 most restaurants were closed. Profcon was lovely affordable and the staff very friendly. Easy access safe parking. Very nicely furnished very comfortable with a kitchen appliances. Will stop over again.

A clean neat and tidy town - walkable with interesting shops, lovely places to eat. Always pay a visit to the Drosty Hotel for a drink and a meal. The new dinosaur museum is a must. If you have time sunset at the Valley of Desolation is also spectacular

The tour of the Dutch Reformed Church was great.

The tour of the Dutch Reformed Church was great. The tour was so informative and well worth it. Fossil museum is a good experience for children. The town is quaint, full of charm and beautiful architecture. Very walkable. Easy to get around. Camdeboo Park and Valley of Desolation not to be missed. Lovely selection of restaurants and good food.

A trip up the mountain for the Valley of Desolation is...

A trip up the mountain for the Valley of Desolation is definitely worth it. Walking around in this beautiful town with the impressive Dutch Reform Church is also worth it. Visiting the museums and Art Gallery was also great.

Absolutely magnificent stay. Great location within Graaff-Reinet, secure and quiet whilst still being at walking distance of restaurants etc. Great hosts as well, in every sense (friendly, communicative, helpful, ...). They helped us with the rest of our travel plans, which otherwise could've been a bit of a disaster! House is superb and room as well, renovated beautifully with great skill. I'm not one to give rave reviews easily, but this is honestly one of those 6 out of 5 stars!

A perfect Karoo Farm Stay. Johan and Ansie are lovely, interesting people and we loved our hiking guide, their Xcollie dog. Chalets are Rustic, unpretentious decor, no frills but all the basics necessary. Comfortable and clean. Waterval Farm is a "stop and stay" place nestled in the mountains. Several trails, a dream place for hiking groups, stars and to "just chill".

The room was very spacious and comfortable with all the necessary items for a self catering stay. Fire wood was even supplied if one wanted to braai. Load shedding was not an issue as the property has backup power.
