Staandakkie Guest Cottage is a charming and quaint self-catering cottage, located on a working farm, just 15 km from Bredasdorp (+/- 8 km of the 15 km is farm gravel road and which a small car can travel on). Cottage lies off the De Hoop Nature Reserve road. The cottage is separate from the main farm homestead, but is close enough for interaction with the friendly hosts should guests need it. The cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. The bedroom contains a double bed. The bathroom contains a shower. A TV, a heater, and a radio are provided. The kitchenette is equipped with a stove, mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Starter coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and rusks are provided. Outside, there is a braai area with patio chairs. Firewood and a braai grid are provided. Staandakkie is surrounded by beautiful farm landscape and is 2 km from the historical Milkwood Tree on the farm Rhenosterfontein. Take a stroll on the farm roads and you welcome to bring bikes along. The bird life is prolific. You are 35 km from closest beach, Arniston, an 55 km away from the Southern most tip of Africa. Cottage lies 43 km away from the De Hoop Nature Reserv
