Get away from it all! Enjoy an Eco-friendly farm experience at the foot of the world-famous Swartberg Mountain Pass, 45km outside of Oudtshoorn. Enjoy swimming in our mountain swimming pool with views of nature all around you. Solar electricity, organic gardening, free range livestock, chicken, rabbits. Be refreshed, re-energized and regenerated!

I am an extrovert, love people and the nature. Our family is living on an eco friendly farm. Our outlook is organic and self sustainable.

Swartberg Backpackers is situated on a farm next to the Cape Nature Reserve. We are just below the magnificent Swartberg Pass where people travel and view the spectacular views on the mountains throughout the year. The well-known Cango caves are 17km from us. There is also a Game Farm close-by and you can drive there late in the afternoon and view the wild life without entering their premises.
