Our Bed and Breakfast is a home away from a home. A comfortable/relaxing setting. You will feel like you are at home while with us and you are welcome to bring your furbabies with to stay with you.

The Tides Inn offers its guests a uniquely relaxing experience with its astounding panoramic views that feel as if you have been dropped into the middle of the Indian Ocean. Our Inn couples holiday making dreams with business travelling convenience, with modern conveniences pouring out of every beautiful room. We have invested in your comfort by installing a large generator to sustain the Inn during power failures or load shedding, as well as an advanced water reservoir system to keep us going during municipal issues. Breakfast is made fresh for you in the morning, we offer bacon,eggs,toast,tomatoe,sasuage,fruit,yoghurts,juice,tea and coffee. Should there be a special diet requirement please advise us before check in so that we can arrange and ensure we have the items for you for breakfast. We have installed battery operated ceiling lights that charge when the power is running to ensure you are never in the dark, as well as we have WIFI Ups to keep you going during load shedding. We are conveniently located on the Bluff- Durban, just south of the Durban city centre, within easy reach to King Shaka Airport and not far off from areas such as Prospecton and Jacobs, making our seaside accommodation ideal for business bookings. Holiday makers will rejoice knowing that The Tides Inn offers rock pool adventures, fishing, swimming and surfing right in its back yard, and myriad amenities nearby, such as a golf course and Virgin Active gym. Day trips can easily be made to the Drakensburg mountains, Midlands Meander and any number of local game reserves for you and your family’s delight. Please take note we have lovely ocean views there is no path down to the beach from our property you would have to drive around 1km to get to the beach.

Neighborhood info

The Neighborhood is very safe. There is a beach close by in walking distance along the main road or you can drive by car, we dont have beach access.We are close to the local shopping malls also close by is the golf course where you can go and play golf. Resturants close by.
