Thirsty Falls Guest Farm practices and applies the principles of permaculture. A diversity of trees, herbs, plants and grasses grow together, encouraging the natural eco systems of nature to co- exist, without the harmful use of chemicals. Cradled amidst the rugged splendour of the African bush and cliffs as backdrop, Thirsty Falls offers spectacular views and absolute privacy in a tranquil environment. Thirsty Falls derives its name from the many mountain waterfalls above in the cliffs that happen during Highveld thunderstorms, the waters of which "vanish" into the underground caverns. We offer 5 self catering, fully equipped cottages - 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units - This is an adult orientated venue. Each cottage is privately positioned amidst the natural bush of the Magaliesberg, offering privacy and comfort. Sliding doors lead out from all the rooms onto the patios, giving panoramic views of the valley and the majestic cliffs of the Magaliesberg mountain range.

Neighborhood info

Magaliesburg is a small town in near the Cradle of Human Kind. Offering majestic views of the mountains, there is also activites such as Hot air ballooning, Canopy TOurs, hiking trailes and a number of Spa retreats. When in the area, a definite trip to Bru house or the Black horse is a must, these are two well known restaurants. If you are looking for a day visit, you will be able to find game drives at the nearby reserve, fly fishing , or picnics in the area.
