Thornbay is run by a Husband and wife team, Peter & Michele, both retired in 2008 and have not looked back. Thornbay allows us to meet new and interesting people daily. To be able to inform guests on the area and see guests relax, leave all daily stresses behind is our motto.

Property info

Doringbaai is still a small coastal village along the West Coast in the Western Cape, for total relaxation, calmness, beautiful sea views and fantastic sunsets over the cool Atlantic ocean. Fully equipped self catering apartments all have own braai patio's which overlook the sea, restaurants and wine cellar all within walking distance. In the small harbour to our left there is a working lighthouse, abalone farm and wine cellar "Fryer's Cove" on the jetty. Thornbay has 6 x 1 bedroom apartments and 4 x 2 bedroom apartments (ground and 1st floor) all over looking the sea, these apartments all are fully equipped.
