Luxury Accommodation at Umhlanga Lodge Umhlanga Lodge offers 4 Luxury Suites, all en-suite, located in the heart of La Lucia. This is your perfect home away from home. Security and Convenience For your security and convenience, we have: Secure Mediterranean security blinds installed throughout. A secure gated and fenced parking area for your vehicle. A second gated area for added safety. Ideal For Umhlanga Lodge is ideal for: Overnight travellers. Family holidays. Three of our rooms feature their own private entrance, leading onto a newly renovated shared lounge and kitchenette. The pool and terrace are available for complimentary use by all guests. We can also arrange barbecues upon request. However, please note that this is not a party venue; loud noise will not be tolerated, and quiet times are observed after 9pm. Convenient Location La Lucia is conveniently located off uMhlanga Rocks, in the upmarket area of Durban, close to: Durban's finest restaurants and nightlife. Stunning beaches, just 5 minutes away. The casino, located down the road. La Lucia Mall and La Lucia Ridge business parks, less than a minute's drive away. The Gateway, 5 minutes away. Moses Madiba Stadium, 15 minutes away. The airport, 15-20 minutes away. uShaka Marine World is a 15 minute drive from the Lodge. Game reserves within an hour’s drive. Ideal gateway to the Big 5 at Hluhluwe and other reserves on the North Coast. One and a half hours drive to the Natal Midlands. A two hour drive to the Wild Coast Wave and casino, the biggest water park in Africa. Check-In Information Self-checkout is available.
