Free standing private villa, with a fully equipped kitchennette, linen, towels, just bring your suitcase and toiletries. There will be no other guests sharing your space. Ideal for a couple or single person wanting peace, quiet and privacy. Kudu, zebra, warthog, mongoose, etc will visit so you won't be totally alone!
Hi I'm Kay Bruneau. The African bush and my 'collection' of rescued dogs are rather impossible to combine and are also the two things I love the most . I first visited Marloth Park in 2016. What was supposed to be a bush getaway turned out to be a 'hunt' for Marloth Park real estate. Yes, it was love at first sight! It was the zebras that ate all my carrots the very first night that did it! Literally!!! I could not believe that these majestic yet wild and beautiful creatures would just eat from my hand! The very next day, I was on a 'mission' to create a small place that I could share with others who love and appreciate the simple beauty of just being in the bush, watching these beautiful animals come to your doorstep, listening to the sounds of crickets at night, the piercing sound of a bush baby cry or the leopards grunt in the distance. Enjoy every moment of your visit! This is a very special and very much loved place, and we hope you get to love it as much as I do!
Kruger National Park is literally the other side of the Crocodile River, and we are less than 1 km away from the river, approximately 15 minutes drive to the Crocodile Bridge gate (which is the main entry gate to the south of the Kruger Park). You can take a walk or drive on the Marloth side, along the river, and watch the Kruger Park. You will see game animals, no doubt: impala, bushbuk, waterbuck, wathhog, kudu, etc and you are very likely to see elephant close by the other side of the fence. There are shops at the Bush Centre so you can get basic supplies as well as several restaurants, the Giraffe, Amazing River View, the Tin Shack to mention just a few.
