Please note that there are two units on the same premises: Vygeboom Studio and Vine Cottage. The units share the gate and parking as well as the viewing tower. Vygeboom Studio: - Please note that unit is open plan - A second outdoor shower - No braai facilities - Only a kitchenette with heating facilities, no cooking facilities - Share the gate and parking with Vine Cottage Vine Cottage: - Please note that twin bedroom is open plan - No braai facilities - Only a kitchenette with heating facilities, no cooking facilities - Share the gate and parking with Vygeboom Studio

Neighborhood info

The village is quaint; has several excellent restaurants, galleries and tourist attractions, including the Owl House which boasts over 500 sculptures created by Helen Martins. Other attractions include the Kitching Fossil Exploration Centre and the Bushman Heritage Museum. Meals are affordable in Nieu Bethesda; one should indulge in the excellent food served in the village, from breakfasts, home-cooked meals, artisan gin & rum, beers, and cheeses. There is a general dealer in the village, stocking fresh produce, wood, ice and groceries. At the farm stall one can buy excellent meat to braai/ bbq. The village has no filling station. Outdoor enthusiasts can go hiking or mountain biking. We do hope you will love your stay and the beautiful village of tranquility.
