Escape to an unforgettable, tranquil and unspoiled bush-veld experience. Relax in our unique peaceful family getaway destination, with an abundance of bird life and free roaming wildlife. Enjoy the warm ambiance of a relaxing fire, after feeling the serene atmosphere of watching a beautiful sunset in the bush. Both our charming thatched roof cottages, are comfortable, free standing and fully furnished with modern amenities. Airconditioning is available and there are fans in all the rooms. Both houses have gas stoves/ovens and gas geysers. We have a shared garden with a play area, with swings, a sand pit, etc for toddlers. We are baby friendly and have camping cots and baths, available on request. *Four Seasons cottage currently boasts with its own resident family of bush babies living on upper floor balcony. It has 4 on-suite rooms and decorated with the theme of the four seasons. *Big Five is wheel chair freindly the Big Five and is decorated with the theme of the bush and the Big Five animals. Please note air-conditioners are prepaid in both houses. Full DSTV package avalable on request. Firewood, charcoal, firelighters and ice are available on site.
Weltevrede Lodge is family venture where Elaine and Robert humbly offer to share their great love for the bush veld and its animals. A place where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature and have the opportunity to spend quality family time and create memories to cherish. Experience the serene atmosphere of watching a beautiful sunset or enjoy sun downers in the African bush, before enjoying the warm ambiance of a relaxing fire while gazing at the stars and listening to the sounds of nature.
The most awesome part of it all is that Marloth Park borders the magnificent Kruger National Park, which makes visiting our legendary neighbors easy. We are 25km from Crocodile Bridge Gate our closest entrance to the Kruger. Marloth Park is also situated close to Mozambique, Swaziland and some of the most breath-taking scenic sightseeing destinations in the area. Marloth Park has restaurants, pubs/bars, grocery shops, hairdressers and spa treatment services. There is a variety of activities such as game drives, quad bikes, go cart rides, mini golf, public swimming pools with super tubes, etc. Marloth Park is a holiday township within a nature conservation area and has a strict no noise policy. No loud music, parties or any noisy group gatherings are tolerated.
