Life partners since 1994, Andre and Ashley purchased the abandoned Wolverfontein in 2002. Seeking an escape from the city, they set about completely restoring this historic property, to open their doors to guests in 2006. Andre is a keen MTB cyclist - he cycled from Cape Town to Nairobi in 1992 - whilst Ashley is a retired actor and published author. The Touwsriver Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering guests a myriad of opportunities for both rest and relaxation, but also for hiking and mountain biking too.
