Situated on a working farm you will share your retreat with chickens, proteas, macadamias and birdsong. It is an ideal base to explore the Garden Route but retire at night to your own space, away from the crowds. Experience peaceful, adults-only lodging on our working farm, surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest and mountain views. Explore the immediate area which is perfect for mountain biking enthusiasts. Take a run on the forest paths with not another soul to disturb you. Botlierskop Private Game Reserve is close by as is its Village Restaurant, a recommended eating place. Relax on Groot Brakrivier beach, one of the best in the country, or explore the cafe’s in Groot Brakrivier. Or if you just want to chill, use your kitchen and gas braai to create your own culinary favourites, and enjoy in your own private space on Zest Forest Retreat.
We love nature and have chosen to live off-the-beaten track.
The farm is surrounded by pine plantations and has a view of the ocean at Mossel Bay in the distance. We are 21km from Groot Brakrivier which boats on of the best beaches in South Africa. We are on the famous Garden Route which offers many and varied experiences.
