The hotel is a standard Ibis - all the rooms are similar across Europe I suspect. We had a nice balcony looking out over the mountains behind the hotel. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and tidy on arrival. Although the hotel is c.2 Km (or a brisk 25 min walk) from the centre of the beautiful Altstadt, all guests are eligible for a free one-day/night bus pass. We used this to travel into the Altstadt in the evening - the buses were comfotable & prompt and it took c. 5 min to reach Bahnhofplatz - a real bonus.

Ibis has a particular price point so you know what to expect. However the strong points for the Ibis Sion were the quality of the reception staff and their welcome, the comfort of the bed put many more expensive hotels to shame and the cleanliness of the room and facilities were very good.
