Pretty well everything was excellent. Rooms were spacious, food very good and staff so friendly. It is one of the few places we have stayed in recent times that provided a non-slip mat for the shower alcove - most are downright dangerous but this was really good in that regard. Set in open and pretty Yorkshire countryside, the place has obviously been improved progressively in recent times. Highly recommended.

More than world class hospitality, it was like family. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.

We stayed here before an early flight at Leeds Bradford Airport. It was only a 10 minute drive from the hotel to the airport. The staff were so friendly during check-in. The room was comfortable and clean. It is above a pub, but even with our early night it was not noisy.
