There was nothing to not love about our stay at this property. It was the perfect choice for our short stay in this very quaint and historical village and the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The restaurant served scrumptious food, cleanliness was top notch and the rooms were beautifully decorated in keeping with the historical significance of the building. The staff and proprietors at this establishment were welcoming and friendly which made it likely that I would happily return.

We had a lovely stay at the newly renovated Milestone. Room was lovely, food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Would recommend! Will happily visit again!

Pretty well everything was excellent. Rooms were spacious, food very good and staff so friendly. It is one of the few places we have stayed in recent times that provided a non-slip mat for the shower alcove - most are downright dangerous but this was really good in that regard. Set in open and pretty Yorkshire countryside, the place has obviously been improved progressively in recent times. Highly recommended.

More than world class hospitality, it was like family. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.
