Room quality exceeded expectations - really good value for money. There to celebrate a party - buffet provided was plentiful (although a bit more leafy salad would have made the grazers happy), function area was just the job and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Normal menus offered good range and reports from attendees who also stayed over were all positive. Pub area also has a Darts Room which is always good to fine. Special mention and thanks for Emma the Asst Manager.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Chester city center, the small independently run Bawn Lodge offers traditional cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Chester Railway Station is half a mile away.

Room 8 -the size of the room for 3 of us was excellent and very happy with the facilities, We ate in the lodge on two evenings and the meals were excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.

Dating from 1155, The Pied Bull is located within the walls of the Roman city of Chester. It features its own microbrewery and bar serving a wide selection of ales, wines and beers.
