I stayed for one month. Bow, the lady in reception, is one of the kindest (and funniest) people you'll meet, and she made my stay so good. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is spotless, and rooms are cleaned daily. Bottles of drinking water are delivered to the room every day. There are loads of great coffee stands and streetfood on the same road. It's peaceful even though very near the city (5 mins on foot into the old city). Very safe area. There's a microwave and kettle in the reception area to heat food. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was good too. Bow is always on hand to help or offer a Thai snack! The hotel offers a very soft landing to foreigners arriving in Thailand and Chiang Mai if you've never been before.

In a prime location in the center of Chiang Mai, ONCE (upon a time) Chiang Mai Home provides free WiFi throughout the property, free bikes and free private parking for guests who drive.

It is an old but very comfortable place in a quiet area, easy walking distance from many things. The staff are all gracious. The breakfast is lovely, and beautifully presented.

Conveniently located in the heart of Chiang Mai City, Villa Thapae is less than a 3-4 minute walk from Sunday Walking Street and Thapae Gate.

The owner is exceptional! She is the kindest owner I have ever met. ❤ The standard check-in time is 2pm. But my friend and I arrived 9am and we only want to leave our luggage until we are allowed to check-in. But she told us to wait until 9.30am because our room is almost ready and we can enter the room and use it. How nice is that!? What more even nicer is we only waited 5mins and she let us check-in and she have a helper who helped us to bring our luggage on the 2F. Amazing owner, very kind. I hope to comeback again in Chiang Mai and will definitely book again! She also help us to contact our pick up (going to Elephant Sanctuary) because they are already 30mins late. Leaving the hotel, we are also allowed to leave our luggage as per in the morning we needed to go to Chiang Rai. We came in the afternoon to get our luggage.

Best accomodation experience we had on our Thailand trip. If, like us, you like the personal touch of an owner-run boutique guesthouse, then this is the place for you. Marcel is a gem as a host, nothing is too much trouble and he always has the comfort of his guests as his first priority. This clearly also transcends to his staff who are all delightful in dealing with. Facilities, comfort and food are were perfect for the price point. Pool was great.

Very clean and comfortable room with style. I liked the industrial/post modern touches very much, and the bed was massive. The managers have a really cute baby boy, who added a family touch. Grab cars cane quickly.

Muangchaem House is located in Mae Chaem and features massage services. The inn has both free WiFi and free private parking. Chiang Mai Airport is 69 miles from the property.

Wow.. What can I say.. Very peaceful & comfortable place. The room is very big and nice. The bed was so comfortable. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed it very much. Owner of the guesthouse was very Sociable and nice. The place was just perfect!
