The property has a great location, very close to the beach (walking), the hosts were very friendly, open and flexible to our schedule. Additional great communication since we made the reservation which provide a sense of trust and security.

We stayed in Congo 2, which seemed to be brand new: it was really comfortable and spotlessly clean, with excellent kitchen facilities and a great bathroom. The views of the jungle are lovely and we saw lots of birds, particularly scarlet macaws - a large group were in the tree right next to the room. We had access to a pool a few metres away, with a jacuzzi pool, as well as the large main pool at reception. The local town has several supermarkets, so we were able to buy food to eat in while looking out at the jungle views. Breakfast was excellent: fruit and juice, followed by a choice of typical Costa Rican gallo pinto or eggs with toast, all served with unlimited coffee. We only stayed one night as we were breaking up a longer journey, but it was a great choice for a relaxing stopover.
