The owners are friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely. They could be a birders destination if they added some bird feeders and advertised that way. So many birds in the area. The grounds are pretty. They are clearly building and growing this lodge.

The woman who runs the hotel was a sweetheart. She and her husband live on site. She stayed up to check us in when we didn’t arrive until 9:30 at night. We were just a few blocks from an amazing park, and she arranged a ride for us to a great restaurant. I appreciated that she kept the front door locked for safety. She made us a nice breakfast.
